# A remove.bg alternative for product photos

**Short answer:** remove.bg closes on 1 December 2026. MerchLoom removes backgrounds at $0.08 a photo, no subscription — and adds what remove.bg never did: models, scenes, your brand.

Choose MerchLoom if — You sell online and want the whole job done: clean background, then on a model or in a scene, square for Amazon, straight from your store.

Stay with Canva if — You only ever needed a cut-out and you already pay for Canva Pro, where remove.bg is moving.

## Where remove.bg users are being sent
